Vladimir Paskaljević is awarded young filmmaker and TV director from Serbia. He is experienced as as a director, screenplay writer and editor. He also teaches film directing and scriptwriting at Megatrend University at department of film making. His main work until now is ĐAVOLJA VAROŠ (DEVIL'S TOWN) that won many international awards and was premiered at many prestigious international film festivals such as Karlovy Vary, Rotterdam, Montreal, Palm Springs, etc. He also wrote screenplay for the movie THE OPTIMISTS, which had a world premiere at Toronto International Film Festival, and won several grand prix at festivals in Valladolid and Geneve. Film "The Optimists" was shown also at international festivals in Rotterdam, Kopenhagen, Pusan, Athens, etc. His short student film DOLPHINS ARE MAMMALS won several international awards. He also directed various documentaries produced by Radio-Television of Serbia that consider integration of Roma (gypsy) children into serb society. Also known as playwright. Since May 2007 he also directs live TV shows. Fluent in many languages, such as Spanish, English and French.
